River Walk - Jellicoe Park

Covering an extensive area in the central district of Moree, Jellicoe Park is bordered by the Mehi River. On the first Sunday of each month (excluding January), Jellicoe Park is a hive of activity as the Moree Markets flourish under the spreading branches of the magnificent eucalypts and jacarandas.

Starting at 8am, the markets are a must. You never know what treasure you may find in this beautiful park. As you stroll through Jellicoe Park you will note the paved walkway, Goanna Walk designed by Moree local, Tian Harris. Follow the goanna footprints until, resting around the raised garden bed, you'll discover Goanna, curled up ready for a nap.
